Ajay specialises in optimisation, control systems, and software development for energy innovation.

With a PhD in computer science and decision making from IMT Lucca, and postdoc research at TU Berlin, he now supports the deployment of novel methods at Energised Futures to drive smarter, more responsive energy systems.

A second-gen electrical engineer with a PhD in energy markets, Aleksei leads research into energy flexibility and market innovation.

He’s driving next-gen grid solutions to power a smarter, greener, and more resilient energy future.

Abhishek blends engineering and data science to create smarter, more sustainable energy solutions.

After earning his Meng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London – with a focus on sustainability and energy systems –Abhishek joined Energised Futures from the Centrica DTS Software Engineering graduate scheme, and is passionate about tech, sustainability, and customer impact. 

Harriet Nornoo is a passionate and results-driven Project Manager, where she leads innovation programmes that shape the future. Known for her curiosity, collaborative spirit, and ability to bring structure to complexity, Harriet thrives at the intersection of customer insight, data-driven strategy, and operational excellence. 

With a background spanning energy, healthcare, and education, she’s led record-breaking CX performance programmes, delivered improved service outcomes and regulatory compliance, and driven high-impact projects that translate strategy into measurable results. 

Harriet is motivated by making a meaningful impact, whether that’s improving lives through better innovative services or inspiring teams to challenge the status quo and deliver bold ideas.

With dual MScs in Electrical Engineering and AI, and a PhD in reinforcement learning for demand response, Thijs is advancing smart control of residential energy assets.

With experience across energy, aviation, and entertainment, Alan sits at the crossroads of ideas and people: shaping concepts; journeys; and choices that help both customers and businesses move forward together.

Ike is a seasoned digital professional with expertise across multiple digital domains. He has successfully led the design, development, and deployment of digital solutions in different industries including smart buildings and industrial IoT.

He is passionate about software, data, connectivity, and hardware for smart and connected systems and how these systems can be used to drive digital transformation.

Kazuki is exploring how cutting-edge data science, like Graph Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning, can unlock smarter, greener energy systems.

After earning a BSc in Management at LSE with a focus on behavioural economics, he joined Centrica’s graduate scheme, bringing his curiosity and impact-driven mindset to Energised Futures.

At Energised Futures, he’s optimising residential assets – like heat pumps, batteries, and EVs – to cut costs and emissions.  

While his work is rooted in research, his primary goal is to drive real-world impact by bridging the gap between innovation and practical deployment.

Fairouz is a control engineer and energy systems expert focused on unlocking smart, inclusive energy solutions.

She holds a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Grenoble Alps and completed postdoc research at KU Leuven. At Energised Futures, she leads work on AI-driven modelling and community energy systems.
